The Board of Directors is made up of Six(6) highly experienced Nigerians, who brings to the benefit of the Company their sound experience in various sectors of the Nigerian economy. The board members are profiled below:

Fred Anigbogu is a multi-disciplinary and a sector-agnostic professional with financial, investment and technical backgrounds. With post-doctoral entrepreneurial experiencesand management advisory dictates, he is focused on Private Equity/Venture Capital and other fixed interest investment.
He has mentored, funded and supervised over 80 SMEs across Nigeria including post-conflicted countries of Liberia and Sierra Leone. All these were accomplished through on-lending facilities management of investible funds by Nigerian banks, International Finance Corporation (IFC) and Stitching Cordaid of The Netherlands.
He had earlier worked in Mobil Producing Nigeria Unlimited, Merchant Bank of Africa, National Risk Fund, United States-Nigeria Development Institute among others. Presently, he is the Chief Operating Officer of Unique Venture Capital Management Limited.
Fred has PhD and M.Phil. degrees in Entrepreneurship, MBA in Project Management, Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering and a Fellow of Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN). His field experiences span Engineering/Information Technology, Banking, Venture Capital/Private Equity Investments, Financial and Project Management mostly in SMEs and some high-ticket investments and had played pivotal roles in project initiation, analysis, execution and divestment including cross border investments.
Churchill Imasuen is a Professional Accountant, who is a Fellow of the institute of Chartered Accounts of Nigeria (ICAN). He holds a master’s degree in Business administration (MBA) from the University of Benin and a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Accountancy, from Auchi Polytechnic, Auchi.
Prior to joining Unique Venture Capital, where he is currently the Head of Accounts and Acting Head of the Corporate Services Division, Churchill trained as an Auditor with GiwaOsagie& Co an Audit firm in Benin City Edo State, where he worked and rose to the position of an Audit manager.
In that capacity, he led teams for several audit assignments which spanned manufacturing, oil & gas, banking, etc. He ventured into the banking sector as an internal auditor and Branch Control Officer at Intercontinental Bank of Nigeria Plc., now Access Bank Plc.
His over 15years knowledge and experience in Accounting, Management, Audit and Project & investment has exposed him to a diverse range of financial and Managerial issues in the various industrial sectors.
Churchill Imasuen is a member of the Ikeja and District Society, of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria. He is a member of the ‘Catch Them Young’ arm of the district society that is saddled with the responsibility of interacting with young Secondary school graduates on career talks as it relates to accountancy and Education generally.
This is in addition to the various programs, seminars and trainings undertaken to ensure that he is at breast with his profession and career development.
Mrs. Abimbola O. Gbajabiamila is a graduate of Law from the University of Lagos, Akoka, Yaba – Lagos. She started her working career with Lagos State Ministry of Justice Administrator General & Public Trustee Division (State Council) NYSC- 1985-1986, from where she moved to Tunji Abayomi & Co (Legal Council), 1986 – 1987.
She joined Nigeria Merchant Bank Plc in 1987 – 1993 where she served as Executive Assistance (Legal) she was the manager, Legal in 1993.
Moreover, she was also the Company Secretary, 1991 – 1995 in Merchant Securities Ltd, managed by Nigeria Merchant Bank Plc Under a Technical and Management Services Agreement. From March, 1993 to January 1996.
She was the Ag. Company Secretary (Company Secretariat) under Nigeria Merchant Bank Plc. She has been the Principal Partner – Bimbo Gbajabiamila & Co since 1996 – date.
Mr. Anyaegbunam is a graduate of Accounting from the University of Lagos in 1980. He is qualified as a Chartered accountant with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) in 1982, and attained the Fellowship of the Institute in year 2000. Mr. Anyaegbunam is also a graduate of Lagos Business School Chief Executive Programme (CEP8).
He started his working career with Texaco Nigeria Plc in July 1981 – January 1982, from where he moved to UAC Nigeria in February 1982 – January 1983. He joined Unipetrol Nigeria Plc from 1983 – 1989 and served as a Management Accountant for the last three years of his six years tenure. Also, he has been the Managing Director of Beta Computers since March, 1989.
Mr. Orolugbagbe is a graduate of Chemistry from the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife in 1984. He is qualified as a Fellow Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria, and also Fellow Institute of Directors. Mr. Orolugbagbe is also a graduate of Lagos Business School Chief Executive Programme (CEP-8) and also Witts Business School, Jo’burg.
He started his working career with Bola-Sadipe & Company (Chartered Accountants) 1985-89, from where he moved to Isaac Orolugbagbe & Co, 1989-91. He joined DHL International in 1991-93 where he served as Treasury Controller, he then moved to Red Star Express in 1994-97 where he served as Audit Manager & AGM Finance, he then moved to Shell Petroleum Development Co, Warri in 1997 where he served as the Senior Accountant.
Also, he was the Managing Director / Chief Executive Officer of Red Star Express from 1997 – 2007. He is also Director – Red Star Communications Ltd, Director – Thomas Wyatt Nigeria Plc, Director – Western Cape Wines Limited
Mr. Ndu is a graduate of Accountancy from the University of Nigeria Nsukka in 1982 He is qualified as a Chartered accountant with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and attained the Fellowship of the Institute. Mr. Ndu is also a graduate of Lagos Business School Chief Executive Programme (CEP) in 1997.
He started his working career with Emidson Nigeria Ltd, Ibadan- Nigeria in 1982 – 1983, from where he moved to Price Waterhouse, Lagos – Nigeria in 1983 – 1987. He joined Apapa Trawlers Ltd, Lagos from 1987 – 1988 where he served as the Group Finance Manager, from there he moved to Ventures & Trusts Ltd, Lagos from 1988 – 1991
